Rugby Drill Master

by Steven Schocher

Horizontal for passing practice

Project Description

At the start of 2020 the global Covid-19 pandemic sent everyone into lockdown. This caused all sporting competitions, games and team training activities to stop, most notably, heavily impacting rugby. Lockdowns imposed a heavy toll on people, not only physically, but mentally, as they struggled with being confined to their homes. This sparked the idea to create an at-home rugby training equipment to practice passing and kicking while staying connected with teammates from home.

Rugby Drill Master is training equipment that is simple to use at home, allowing you to stay connected with others while isolated. The Rugby Drill Master uses light-up targets for different training drills and can be easily transformed from passing drills to kicking drills, with adjustable legs that can be positioned on the board for each drill. The Rugby Drill Master also uses an app that has many different drills to perform and online interactive features to compete with friends or teammates.
