ENHANCE Hearing Aids

by Daniel Prasad

ENHANCE: aesthetic hearing aids with 3D-printed modular parts and 3D printed ear moulds.

Project Description

Deaf and hard of hearing people share a common issue in which they try to hide their hearing devices or feel ashamed of wearing them. How can we change perceptions and behaviour so that wearing hearing devices becomes just like wearing glasses? ENHANCE hearing aids have an aesthetic design that users can wear fashionably, eliminating conventional medical looking hearing devices. ENHANCE provides 3D printed customisable colour options so that users can always change and replace the look of their hearing aids. The goal is to promote a positive image and create an emotional connection between hearing aids and users.

3D-printed modular coloured parts, designed for users to change and replace the look of their hearing aids.
