MoPet Bedside Table: Pet-Friendly Furniture
by Yi Yang
Project Description
The intention of the project was to focus on space utilisation and the interaction between people and their pets, providing pet owners with furniture design concepts to support today’s social environment of increasing rates of small property ownership and pet population. The increase in social pressure makes people more willing to place their emotional trust in pets, which leads to a rise in the number of pets. These two decisive factors support the necessity for pet-friendly furniture.
The significance of this project is to combine furniture and pet products with improving space utilisation for small property owners, reducing the purchase of pet products, and reducing the waste of furniture. Furthermore, promote the development of new pet product types.
