Project Description

Rhythma is a haptic, wrist-worn product that provides tactile feedback to guide timing, enhance rhythm perception, and make music practice more intuitive for children with Auditory Processing Disorder (APD). Through translating what are traditionally auditory cues into vibrations, Rhythma offers an alternative sensory channel, supporting children who struggle to interpret competing acoustic signals.

Each Rhythma wristband contains four vibrating motor discs that deliver haptic vibrations to the user.

Bio

I’m a product design student driven by the desire to create meaningful, user-focused solutions that balance functionality with emotional impact. From a young age, I’ve had a passion for drawing and creating, which has evolved into a love for design. I thrive on hands-on processes, from sketching and model making to developing ideas through CAD. I’m meticulous in my approach, ensuring that every detail is carefully considered and well-resolved. I’m motivated by the challenge of transforming problems into meaningful solutions, and I’m always eager to push myself beyond my comfort zone. I’m particularly drawn to projects that combine sustainability and human-centred design to create solutions that have a real impact.
