Ripples is an intimate toy for individuals with vulvas that have experienced sexual assault and/ or harassment and currently in the third stage of their trauma recovery journey.
In Australia, 1 in 5 females have experienced sexual violence since the age of 15 (Australian Bureau of Statistics, 2023), and 97% of reported sexual assault are male offenders (Australian Bureau Of Statistics, 2022). The saturation of phallic shaped toys, and those designed through a misogynistic and/ or performative lens, often may not be physically and/ or mentally satisfying for the user, finding them intimidating, offensive or triggering.
By addressing the lack of approachable resources for reconnection with self in the third stage of recovery, it can then assist in the individual’s ability to reconnect and integrate with others at a later stage. Intimate toys used with oneself provide a safe space whilst engaging in exposure therapy. Through a safe, non-phallic and approachable manner the individual is supported to heal, break mental barriers and experience pleasure.

The ripples celebrate each vulva’s uniqueness and with gentle pressure applied it builds intensity from a soft rumble to deeper sensations. The asymmetrical form and flexible stem moves naturally with your wrist and finger angles, ensuring optimal comfort and effortless control.
