Flippi: a light therapy lamp designed to regulate the human circadian system

Project Description

In the symphony of factors influencing our well-being, light stands as a fundamental conductor, orchestrating the delicate balance between our physical and mental health. Flippi, an interactive light therapy lamp, enables those living in the Arctic Circle to alleviate Seasonal Affective Disorder. This is done by exposing them to the recommended amount of light needed to regulate the human circadian system during polar nights. A silent but powerful force, light weaves its influence of healthy well-being into our everyday lives, capturing and illuminating the day that awaits us. Flippi aims to establish a symbiotic relationship between light and human health, whilst remaining functional and aesthetic.
