K.Rover
by Damian Hinze
Project Description
The K.Rover is a kitchen appliance designed to minimise clutter and waste. A powerful 1200W motor is suspended by a counterbalanced mechanical arm, allowing for the freedom of stick blending with the power of a stand mixer. The arm has been designed alongside a mechanical central locking system, capable of locking all points of rotation with a single twist. Modules, including a stick blender, stand mixer, pasta roller, smoothie blender, coffee grinder and food processor, can be docked into the motor, clicked into place, and detached with the press of the orange release button. The motor speed is adjusted by the large base dial and activated by an analogue switch. The K.Rover seeks to simplify the kitchen space, providing versatile power with quality components.
