3D Soleplate: A Custom Footwear Concept
by Sam Havranek
Project Description
To address the limited functional customisation in the football boot market, I have produced a custom footwear concept, the 3D Soleplate. This product allows users to codesign the function, fit and feel of their footwear. The concept allows the user to customise the amount of cushioning, type of support, layout of studs and the stud type. This is made possible by an informed decision manufacture through 3D printing processes, giving users a greater ability to find their perfect pair of boots.
