Pomni

by Lucas Riebolge

Pomni is designed to be versatile and accessible whilst still being unobtrusive and blending in with surrounding clothing

Project Description

Stress and mental health issues have come to light in Australian and global institutions in the last decade, due to their effect on employee productivity and wellbeing. Overall stress and subsequent burnout not only have significant effects on employee wellbeing, but also on the economy, with businesses losing approximately $11 billion per year due to reduced productivity. As a result, burnout is beginning to be addressed as a significant occupational hazard within the Australian workforce. Unlike other products on the market, Pomni serves as a non-obtrusive method for individuals to reduce stress with no subsequent effects on their surrounding work environment. Pomni achieves this by combining the traditional relaxation practice of Chinese acupressure in union with heat and haptic vibration to be applied to key pressure points around the body. In addition, the Pomni app can be used, in combination with mindfulness practices and habit building systems to further assist individuals to manage their stress and reduce the likelihood of burnout in the long-term

Sleek and minimal all-black packaging

The Pomni application offers a wide variety of guided meditations and allows users to track their usage trends, create goals and set passive vibration reminders
